Residence in the Lake Du Bay Area

 

SYNOPSIS

      Investigator Roll was contacted by the client to arrange an interview with Roll about ghost research. After the interview Roll discovered that the client had experienced paranormal activity at her fathers home in the Du Bay area, WI. Roll further learned that the client had paranormal experiences at other locations the client’s mother had also witnessed paranormal phenomena at the home in the Du Bay area. The client’s sister had also witnessed paranormal phenomena at the home. The client’s father stated that he hadn’t seen anything paranormal and didn’t believe that home to be haunted. The house was built in 1970 and four families had lived in the home. Three of the four families that lived in the home ended in divorce and there was one death, from cancer. The client believes she may have “psychic” abilities. She has described sensitive abilities and can tell when a death has happened.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY REPORTED

The following paranormal activity was reported at the home:

1. Footsteps heard in hallway at night and in the morning.

2. A white apparition was seen in the living room doorway.

3. Shapes/shadows seen in basement and dinning room.

4. Cold spots in various locations in the home.

5. Imprint of something seen on bed when witness was on the phone.

6. Apparition seen in dinning room, two witnesses.

7. Feelings of a presence.

INVESTIGATION RESULTS

      The WPRS investigated the client's home, located in the Du Bay area, on May 31, 2003. Investigators Ludwig, Blaschka, Murphy and Roll were present. The client, her father , and mother were present at the investigation. The team interviewed the witnesses. Several rolls of 400speed film were shot at the location. Video was also shot at the location. Review of the film and video showed no anomalies. EMF readings were taken throughout the home. No paranormal EMF fields were detected. Temperature readings were taken with temperatures ranging from 66-69 degrees. With no hotspots detected a vigil was not conducted. No paranormal activity was detected. If further activity is reported the WPRS would return to the location.
