Private Residence in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Synopsis

The residence is a townhouse complex and the family has lived there for six years, with their four children. The building site has a rich history that dates back to the 1770’s, where an ancient Sioux tribe’s warriors were hung by settlers and other conflicts with other feuding tribes. Back in the 1850’s, the land was owned by the Willard Family. The Willard family farmed that site until their untimely death, including all six children from poison well water.

The family and others that reside in that same complex have all experienced some sort of paranormal activity through out the years.

Investigation

The WPRS investigated on Friday, June 24th, 2011 from approximately 8:30pm to 1:30am. Investigators Beaudry, Blaschka, Duginski and Williams were present. Equipment used during the investigation included a digital video recorder (DVR), four digital infrared cameras, Trifield EMF meter, thermal probe, digital voice recorders, Geiger counter and walkie talkies.

The client gave us a tour of the residence, while explaining the different paranormal activity that they have experienced in the home.

After the tour, temperature and EMF readings were taken throughout the home. The basement of the home had a temperature reading between 65 to 66 degrees and EMF readings between 1.5 to 3.0 milligauss. Readings that were near the washer and dryer or near the furnace were much higher between 35 to 50 milligauss.

First floor temperature readings were between 72 to 74 degrees and EMF readings were between 1.5 to 7.0 milligauss. Higher readings were in the kitchen between 7 to 15 milligauss and the bathroom between 7 to 35 milliguass, which were near some appliances, electrical wiring or outlets.

Second floor temperature readings were between 73 to 75 degrees and EMF readings were between 1.0 to 8.0 milligauss. The highest EMF reading was in the girl’s bedroom near the closet with a 35 milligauss reading.

Digital infrared cameras were placed in the basement, one in the boy’s bedroom (facing the closet), one in the hallway (viewing the hallway and into the boy’s bedroom), and one in the girl’s bedroom (facing the closet area). EMF readings were also conducted on certain antique items within the home, which had no EMF readings.

WPRS members began the investigation by looking into the bizarre unexplainable marks on the kitchen floor. It was recreated and determined that if a vacuum cleaner ran on the floor stationary with out moving for awhile, the same marks appeared.  On a different report of paranormal activity in the basement a big rubber ball would move on its own from one side of the room to the other. The WPRS determined that if the ball was placed in certain areas of the basement and the airflow from the heating and cooling system turned on, the floor which is not level in places would assist the ball to move.

WPRS members could not debunk some reports regarding the closet door in the girl’s bedroom, which would open on its own. WPRS members tried to recreate the door opening on its own by creating an airflow vacuum by opening and closing different windows and doors in the residence. This attempt was made with the door fully latched and partially unlatched.

Investigators Beaudry and Duginski conducted an EVP session in the basement. During the session, several unexplainable noises were heard in the basement that sounded like clothing rubbing together and another time the sound of footsteps over head in the kitchen area. Other noises that were heard were determined to be other tenants that were in the residence next door or outside. After reviewing all EVP recordings from the basement, no evidence was found in that area.

Investigators Blaschka, Williams and Beaudry conducted an EVP session on the second floor. Investigators Blaschka and Williams conducted a session in the boy’s bedroom, while Investigator Beaudry recorded the session from the girl’s bedroom. After reviewing all EVP recordings from the second floor, Investigator Beaudry captured an EVP recording from within the girl’s bedroom. Investigator Beaudry began to record as he entered the bedroom, while Investigators Blaschka and Williams walked into the boy’s bedroom. The EVP voice that was picked up sounded like a younger child saying, “Momma’s got the children”, and then shortly after a “humming sound” can be heard.

During that same EVP session, Investigator Williams captured on her digital recorder a voice that said, “let it go”, while Investigator Blaschka made the statement “ you understand that we are white, but we harbor you no ill will what so ever”.

Evidence

During the first EVP session, an unexplainable sound like clothing fabric rubbing together and someone walking over head in the kitchen from the basement area was heard by both Investigators Beaudry and Duginski.

During the second EVP session, an EVP recording was picked up in the girl’s bedroom that sounded like a younger child saying, “Momma’s got the children” and a “humming sound”.

A second EVP recording was captured in the boy’s bedroom that sounded like a male voice saying, “let it go”.

Conclusion

Upon reviewing the EVP evidence and taking into consideration the family’s reports of paranormal activity in the house, it is highly likely that the house is haunted with some sort of paranormal activity. It does not seem malicious or demonic in nature. While conducting some of the EVP sessions, WPRS members instructed and laid down some rules that the spirits may remain in the residence, but must stop interacting and scaring the children.
